Encircled by a protected buffer of woodlands and wetlands, Emerald Island Resort is a “land island” amidst a sea of lush vegetation.
The winding, palm-lined road that leads you to Emerald Island Resort, is a prelude to the community’s grandeur. The colonnaded entry, complete with a playful dolphin fountain and picturesque rotunda, provides a dramatic sense of arrival to this gated enclave. Thoughtful streetscaping featuring indigenous plants, decorative flowers and grasses contribute to Emerald Island Resort’s unique impression.
Once inside, you feel as if you have entered a special preserve. Emerald Island is surrounded by a Conservation Area and encompasses over 300 acres, of which 11 are heavily wooded.
Only a few miles from Walt Disney World® and a short walk or drive to shopping and dining, this “island” serves as a haven from the larger world while remaining central to everything. It is the world’s most popular destination with millions of visitors each year.
The Emerald Island Clubhouse is the vibrant center of activity for the community. Even though our home is close to the area’s most renowned attractions, the activities and amenities of this venue are so special you may choose not to leave.
You and your family may enjoy a friendly game of volleyball or a relaxing afternoon at the pool. The beautifully landscaped grounds also feature a children’s play area adjacent to the Clubhouse and a tennis court is in the works. The Clubhouse is very near a trail for walking, jogging or biking that winds through the community’s natural woodland setting.
At 4,000 square feet the Clubhouse has something for everyone including a fitness facility and spa with hot tub, sauna and steam room, a planned sundry shop, a meeting room for informal gatherings, a computer room for guest access to the internet and a snack bar.
Chatham Park
Located on Siesta Lago Drive off Poinciana Boulevard, East Highway 192. This well known community has a children’s play area, communal pool, tennis and basketball courts and a security guard.
Approxomately 15 minutes from Disney and easy access to all other attractions.
